The day before yesterday was the 4th Sunday of Advent in Catholic Church.
一昨日は、カトリック教会の待降節第四主日でした。
It is the season of the shortest days. It snowed and a red sun was in the sky.
一年のうち最も日が短い季節・・・。雪が降っていて、空には赤い色の太陽が。
I took this around 9 A.M. 午前9時ごろに撮影。
On the day I attended the Mass in Kita 11-Jou Church.
私はこの日は、北11条教会のミサに行きました。

In Catholic Church, Christmas decorations are set up from around Dec. 24th to Jan. 6. So now, it seems there's no Christmas tree yet.
教会ではクリスマスの飾りは、大体12月24日から1月6日あたりまで出すので、今はまだツリーはないみたいです。
一方、北一条教会では・・・
Meanwhile, at Kita 1-Jou church...
もう外にツリーが出ていました （'-'）
There was a Christmas tree outside yet.
Lamp cords were winding around the tree. So it would be illuminated at night.
ツリーに電飾が巻きついているので、夜になると多分光る。
教会の中にももう・・・
Inside the church, there are already -
キリストの誕生の飾りがありました！- the decorations of the birth of Jesus Christ. :-D
And after the English Mass, そして英語ミサのあと、
ついにロウソクが4本点いている写真がとれた。- finally I took a photo that the four candles were lit up!
ミサのあと、しばらく消されなかったので、撮る時間がありました～（^_^
I had a time to take it because they were not put off after mass for a while.

いや、私は完全に日本人なのでもちろん日本語OKです～。最近は札幌の観光客はもう8割が中国人じゃないの？って思えるくらい外国人ばっかりなので、札幌関係のネタはできるだけ全部英語で書こうと頑張ってます。（ちなみに中国語は全くできませんｗ）
カトリック教会は、クリスマスの飾り気合入ってるんで綺麗ですよ（^-^*
あのロウソクは、クリスマスの4週間前から一本ずつ灯していって（4週間前は1本だけ点け、3週間前は2本…という風に）クリスマスの前の日曜日に4本になるんです。でも大抵ミサの後すぐ消されるんで、撮影チャンスはごく僅かです･･･。
